Born and raised right here in Calgary's Ward 8, and now living in Ward 6, Trent has the knowledge and experience to help prepare students to succeed in our modern world.

 

Trent has a professional background in Canadian television production, Canadian taxation, and legal matters.

As a strong supporter to have the option of publicly-funded Catholic education in Alberta, Trent's additional background of crafting educational prep courses for students has led him to realize that we need to better prepare students to succeed in our modern world.

 

Trent grew up and attended three (3) Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD) schools in the districts that he's running as a CCSD board trusted candidate. While he stays actively engaged in volunteering at his alma mater, Trent is running to review current policies and help make new policies that will better prepare students to succeed in our modern world.

 

Trent believes that issues that matter most include reviewing artificial intelligence (AI) policies in learning, and reviewing as to whether enough practical skills are being taught or not (think financial literacy and income tax returns).
